New Device for Manikadai Nool – Our new Path breaking Innovation.

On this ‘National Doctors Day’ 2018, we are happy to share with you the New device for  ‘Manikadai Nool’, an innovation by our Team consisting of S. Suruthi, D. L. Jebarani,V.Bharathi (UG scholars from Govt. Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai), Franto M Shajel (Our emerging Engineer/Innovator) under the guidance of  Dr. Thomas M Walter.  This basic working prototype measures with the help of its sensors and calculates the result with the interface software.

Physician and Patient validation of this device was carried out yesterday at our Walters Siddha Research Centre with encouraging results.  We are in the continuous  process of improvisation to make it more accurate and reliable.  We wish the team many more success to innovate more devices for providing better service to Humanity through Siddha.

AGATHIYAR SUDAAMANI KAYIRU SOOTHIRAM :

Glory of Siddha literatures holds many valuable treasures which includes Soodaamani  Kayiru Soothiram. This is a very useful diagnostic tool which is highly unique and exclusive to Siddha System. As per the procedure enfolding, it is termed as Manikadai Nool (Manikadai – wrist; Nool – thread). It holds 26 output values ranging from 4 to 11.

MECHANICAL INNOVATION :

Facilitation of diagnostic methods is highly demanded in both upgrading society and the developing Siddha System. Here is the basic/preliminary mechanical innovation for Soodamani Kayiru Soothiram which gave successful results in its initial trials. This innovation is in further facilitations and up gradation for the better accuracy in diagnosis of a wide range of diseases.
